Courts Plus is a community facility, owned and operated by the Elmhurst Park District. If you're new to the community or haven't visited the facility, stop by and see all the features and services Courts Plus has to offer.

Summer Registration Reminder

Registration for summer programs at Courts Plus began April 28 at 8 a.m. Many programs still have openings. Please call or stop by the registration desk to check availability and to register for programs.

After Hours Workout Party!

Courts Plus will hold a special after hours workout party on Saturday, July 18, 2009 from 7-10 p.m. Members and their families and guests are invited to join us for this special event, which is sure to provide fun activities for everyone. This is a great opportunity to get in your own workout on the fitness floor or to take part in some of the special activities we have planned.

This event is FREE to members and their guests, however pre-registration for the event and certain activities is required. Please stop by the service desk to sign up and reserve your space. Click here for more information.

Member Referral Program

Encourage your family and friends to join Courts Plus this summer to take advantage of all the great services and amenities we offer. Each new member that writes your name in the referral line on their application between July 6, 2009 and August 16, 2009 earns you a $25 gift card of your choice to exciting places including Target, iTunes, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Courts Plus.

You must be a current member to be eligible and the person you refer must mention your name when they join. Once your referral has stayed on as a member for a minimum of one month, your gift card will be available and you will be contacted by membership services to make your selection. Courts Plus Holiday Hours

Courts Plus will be closed Saturday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. Courts Plus will also have limited hours on Monday, September 7 from 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. in observance of Labor Day.

Courts Plus Summer Camps

If you’re looking for activities with a focus on health and fitness for your 3 year old through junior high-aged child, then be sure to check out our various summer camp options. Our program focuses on increasing your child’s overall health and fitness levels through sports, games, activities and field trips. Half day and full day options are available to accommodate your camper’s busy schedule and before and after camp care are also an option for those children in need of a little extra camp fun. Information regarding all of our summer camp options including camp schedules and pricing can be found in the Park District brochure or you can pick up a camp flyer at the Courts Plus Service Desk. Courts Plus Summer Memberships!

Stay in shape all summer long at Courts Plus! Summer memberships are valid May 1 – August 31 or June 1 – September 30, 2009 and cost only $99 for Residents and $139 for Non-Residents. As an added bonus this year, summer memberships will receive 3 guest passes that expire on November 30, 2009. These passes are the perfect way to get a workout over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend or to share with your family and friends. For more information, contact Courts Plus at (630) 833-5064.

Summer Hours

Effective June 1, 2009, Courts Plus will resume summer hours, Monday – Friday, 5:30 a.m. – 11 p.m., Saturday – Sunday, 7 a.m. -6 p.m. Pool rentals will be available on Fridays from 9 – 10:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Summer hours end on August 31, 2009. Get Your CPR Certification

If you have been thinking about becoming CPR certified or need to renew your certification, it doesn’t get any more convenient than this. Our certified staff is available to work with your group of four or more to set up a time and date that is convenient for you. A minimum for four participants is necessary. The cost is $40 per person. Please contact Carolyn Kelley at (630) 993-8902 for more information or to set up a training time and date.

Park District Policy Prohibits Cell Phone Use in Locker Rooms

The Elmhurst Park District has a policy prohibiting the use of all cell phones and any photographic devices (i.e. cameras)in district bathrooms and locker rooms. The intent of the policy is to protect the privacy of park district facility users by preventing the taking of unauthorized photos by devices that can be easily concealed or go unnoticed (such as a camera phone). The district is banning all cell phone use in these areas because it is not always possible to distinguish at first glance which phones are also cameras.

"To protect the privacy of all District customers, the Park Board felt that it was imperative that the District create a policy banning the use of cell phones and photographic devices in locker rooms and bathrooms due to how easy it is to conceal picture phones," states Richard Grodsky, Elmhurst Park District Executive Director.

Courts Plus is asking our members to assist us in abiding by this policy. Please leave your cell phones at home or in your vehicles or stow them in your bag prior to entering the locker rooms. Cell phones are not allowed on the pool deck, in the locker rooms, fitness floor or group exercise studios. Please go to a hallway, the lower level tennis lounge or the café upstairs to use your cell phone.Thank you for your cooperation.
