Safety Town

Ages 4-6 (without parent)

Teaching comprehensive safety awareness in an interactive natural and physical environment

Join us at safety town and learn about safety from bicycles to steets and from trains to first aid. Safety town is open to the public Thursdays mid June through early August, 6:30 - 8pm.

Safety Town is designed to ensure safety education needs are reflected in the structures and amenities of the town. The Wild Meadows Trace site includes miniature buildings; actual size street signs and lighting; trees; miniature streets with sidewalks, reailroad tracks with crossing; and a park.

The miniature community has been designed to reflect the Elmhurst community with a distinct downtown and residential area.
