The expanded Wilder Park Formal Garden is available for weddings! Owned and operated by the Elmhurst Park District, the garden consists of exquisite herb gardens, perennial beds and a walkway.
The Formal Garden will provide a classic setting for your special day. The garden seats up to 130 guests. Garden weddings are offered between May and October.
Wedding packages include:
- 40 ft. Hexagon Wedding Tent
- Engraved Brick Paver to be placed in the Garden Walk
- 50 white wedding chairs (additional chairs are extra)
- On-site staff
The cost of a wedding package is $700. Rental fees are based on two-hour maximums. Wilder Park is open to the public, therefore, complete privacy cannot be guaranteed.
How to Book Your Wedding at the Wilder Park Formal Garden
A reservation is required to use the garden for your ceremony. Reservations must be made through the Elmhurst Park District. A contract must be filled out and the security deposit must be made in order to reserve your requested date and time. Payment of rental fees are due thirty days prior to event date. Cancellation of reservations must be made in writing thirty days prior to event and the deposit will be returned providing the Garden is re-booked for that date. A $50 refundable damage deposit is required

The Wilder Park Formal Garden is the perfect backdrop to make your wedding photos shine. Hourly rentals of the garden are available at a rate of $50 per hour.
