The public restroom at East End Park is currently closed for repairs. A portable restroom will be installed today and will be in place until repairs can be completed and the restroom can reopen.

The Park District’s 2021 Budget reflects a year of transition as part of a slow and gradual recovery including the reopening and expanding of facilities, programs and services as the COVID-19 vaccine becomes wider-spread, mandated capacity and social distancing restrictions are lifted, and more participants become comfortable to return to indoor programs and services.

Eldridge Lagoon is currently CLOSED for ice skating and the red flag is up. Unfortunately, the snow acts as an insulator and melts the ice.
Due to the impending snow storm, the following facility closures and program cancellations will occur:
- Courts Plus programs scheduled to begin after 6:00 p.m. have been cancelled today, February 15. The facility will close at 7:00 pm. The facility will open at 8:00 am on Tuesday, February 16.
- Wagner Community Center will have a delayed opening of Noon on Tuesday, February 16.
- Recreation programs slated to begin prior to Noon tomorrow, including Sunbeams & Rainbows, have been cancelled with the exception of Club Ed at the Centennial Park Recreation Building and the Eldridge Park Recreation Building, which will open at 7:00 a.m. as scheduled.
- AARP tax appointments scheduled for 9:00 a.m. at Wilder Mansion will continue as scheduled.
