2019 Salt Creek Park Project
Salt Creek Park was redeveloped in 2019. Planning for the project began in 2018, when community feedback was gathered. Construction begain in late summer 2019 and the park reopened on Saturday, October 5, 2019. The playground received new equipment, safety surfacing and more shade trees. Aside from the playground, the paths on the north and east side of the park were connected, creating a looped trail. A new drinking fountain and resurfaced street parking were also part of the project details.
