Pool Information Please contact our Pool Manager with any inquiries

The Elmhurst Park District is pleased to welcome you to another swim season at East End Pool and the Norman P. Smalley Pool at York Commons. Based on evaluations conducted by the DuPage County Health Department last season, both pools were ranked top 10% of pools inspected in 2007 in DuPage County.

The District's lifeguard staff will begin another season under the international waterpark safety program - Ellis & Associates. The guard staff must complete and pass a 20-hour training program which includes lifeguard rescue skills, emergency procedures and community CPR. The guards must also attend weekly in-service training sessions and participate in surprising simulations. Throughout the season, auditors from Ellis & Associates conduct three unannounced visits to audit staff performance.

The District staff has received the top "Platinum" International Aquatic Safety Award for the 2007 season. We will continue to strive for the best.
