Park District Board and Meeting Information

Board meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays each month, unless otherwise noted. The Board has also elected to have the regularly scheduled Monday Board meeting on the following Tuesday* if the scheduled Monday falls on a holiday e.g. Memorial Day or Columbus Day and to have one meeting in December. To confirm the Board meeting location call the Administration Office at (630) 993-8900. The public is always welcome to attend the open meetings and is encouraged to participate. Meetings are held in the Wilder Park Administration Office Boardroom, 225 Prospect at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

Important Note: Date Change (Planned Summer Schedule)

Pursuant to 5ILCS 120/2.02(b) of the Open Meetings Act, please be advised that the 2008 Summer Schedule of the Elmhurst Park Board of Commissioners’ meetings are as follows: June 9, July 14 and August 11, 2008. All meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Boardroom of the Administrative Office, 225 Prospect, Elmhurst, IL.

The next meeting will be Monday, May 12, 2008, 7:00 PM at The Wilder Park Administration Board Room, 225 Prospect Ave.

The Elmhurst Park District is a separate governing unit which levies its own tax to provide park facilities and recreation for the residents of the district.

Innovative leadership starts with our community-elected, seven member Board of Commissioners. Members of the Board of Commissioners are elected to six year terms and serve without compensation.
