  • Safety Town Open Road

    July 26, 2018 - 6:00pm to 7:30pm

    Safety Town is open to the public and monitored by qualified Safety Town staff on Thursday evenings (weather permitting) for Open Road during the summer. Practice being a pedestrian on the sidewalks, use road safety while you ride your tricycle on the streets, and learn about railroad safety near the fully operational crossing gate. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times when visiting Safety Town.

    All ages are welcome. Youngsters ages 4-7 with tricycles and helmets can ride through Safety Town.

  • The Olympia Chiropractic Family Fun Ride at the Elmhurst Cycling Classic

    July 27, 2018 - 6:00pm

    Families with all ages are invited to join us for a fun bike ride around the professional course of the Elmhurst Cycling Classic bike race. You can choose to decorate yourself or decorate your bike! Prizes will be awared for best-themed riders and all riders will be cheered on by the crowds as they ride the 1.2 mile course around Elmhurst College! Race starts at 6:20 p.m. The race is FREE for pre-registered riders; day-of registration is $5 per rider.  Pre-registered riders are entered into a drawing to win amazing prizes!

  • Tot Time at Smalley Pool

    July 28, 2018 - 10:00am to 12:00pm

    We’re opening Smalley Pool just for you and your tot! Here is your little one’s chance to splash around without the bigger kids. The pool will be open to enjoy with your little swimmer, with the exception of the slide and diving board. Regular admission prices apply, and you may stay through open swim. Children under 5 and parents only, please.

  • Pop Up Party in Berens Park

    August 02, 2018 - 9:00am to 11:00am

    We're popping into Berens Park to party with you! Kids of all ages are invited to head to the park for some good old-fashioned fun. We'll provide bubbles, hula hoops, jump ropes, giveaways and refreshments. Eco the Raccoon might just make an appearance as well! This is a drop-in event, so stop by anytime between 9-11 a.m.!

  • Impact Dance Company Auditions

    August 09, 2018 - 5:00pm

    All dancers interested in auditioning for the 2018-2019 season are invited to audition at their age level on Thursday, August 9 or Saturday, August 11. During auditions, dancers will perform specific skills as well as dance combinations, which will give our choreographers a sense of each dancer's ability. Once auditions are complete, you will be notified of a placement, whether it is with the Impact Dance Company or another suitable class for your dancer. Although there is no charge to audition, registration is required.

  • Middle School Night at the Pool

    August 09, 2018 - 8:30pm to 10:30pm

    Calling all sixth, seventh and eighth graders! Join us at East End Pool to swim and listen to music provided by a DJ. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase. Register before 6 p.m. the night of the event to receive the Early Registration Fee. Participants who register at the event must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Ages 11-14. Fee is $7 Early Registration; $10 at the door.

  • Movies in the Park - 101 Dalmatians

    August 10, 2018 - 7:30pm

    You and your four-legged friend are invited to join us at Wilder Park for a showing of the animated classic 101 Dalmatians. We're celebrating the dog days of summer with doggie treats for your favorite pup. Come early for family fun and food trucks at 7:30 p.m. Movies begin at dusk, approximately 8:30 p.m.

  • Labor Day Hours

    Wagner Community Center, the Administrative Office and The Abbey are closed today and will reopen tomorrow. Courts Plus will be open from 7 a.m.-1 p.m.

    Today is the last day of the 2018 pool season at East End Pool, which will be open from Noon-6 p.m.

    The Spray Ground at The Hub will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

  • Putt 'n' Save Day: Grandparent's Day

    Grandma or Grandpa play miniature golf free today at The Hub with the purchase of 1 round.

    The Hub has an 18-hole miniature golf course with a water feature and practice green. It features a prairie landscape, similar to the one early settlers of Illinois found in this area. While playing a round of mini-golf, be sure to check out the "mini" prairie around you!

  • Polar Express

    December 09, 2018 - 11:00am

    All aboard! Don't miss the holiday magic as we journey to the North Pole (Elburn) on the Metra train. We will enjoy cookies and refreshments while a storyteller reads The Polar Express. Santa will join us on the train to visit with your family. Meet on the south side of the tracks. Children under one year old are welcome to attend, but must sit on adult's lap. Approximately two-hours round trip. Two train times available, 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Please note: car seats and strollers are not allowed.
