  • Fall Golf Scramble

    October 26, 2019 - 9:00am

    The annual Fall Scramble will be held on Saturday October 26, 9 a.m. at Sugar Creek Golf Course. The format is 4-player scramble with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. $160 entry fee per team. The event includes a tee gift, buffet dinner and large raffle with the grand prize winner getting free golf for the 2020 season!

  • Courts Plus Kids Halloween Tennis Party

    October 27, 2019 - 3:00pm to 5:00pm

    Take a swing at some seasonal fun at the Courts Plus Halloween Tennis Party! Kids ages 5-12 are invited to come in their costumes and have a frightfully good time playing games on the tennis courts. Pizza and soda will be provided and racquets are not required, but if you have one - bring it! $15/person. No experience necessary! This is a great chance to try out a new sport and have some silly fun.

  • Great Western Prairie Work Day

    November 16, 2019 - 9:00am to 12:00pm

    Help maintain Elmhurst's stretch of 10,000-year-old prairie.  Volunteers meet at the Great Western Prairie (intersection of Berkley Avenue and Prairie Path, just west of Spring Road) at 9 a.m.  Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring work gloves.  For more information contact Keith Olson at keitholson [at] usa.net or click here.

  • Polar Express Storytime Train

    All aboard! Don’t miss the holiday magic as we journey to the North Pole (Elburn) on the Metra train from Elmhurst. We will enjoy cookies and refreshments while a storyteller reads The Polar Express. Santa will join us on the train to visit with your family.

  • Tree Lighting in Wilder Park

    December 05, 2019 - 5:30pm to 7:30pm

    Join the Elmhurst Park District as we kick off the holiday season with the annual Tree Lighting in Wilder Park!

    Meet with a special visitor from the North Pole, enjoy holiday entertainment and participate in children's activities. The evening will get you ready for the season!

    Get into the holiday spirit by bringing together your family, friends or organization to decorate one of the 60 holiday trees around the park. Take part in an Elmhurst tradition and pick your tree at the Wagner Community Center! ($60R/$68NR Per Tree)

  • Santa at Wilder Mansion

    December 07, 2019 - 9:00am to 12:30pm

    The fun begins with cookies and cocoa served by Santa's Elves. There will be holiday craft-making, and each child will receive time with Santa and a complimentary photo. Featured will be Santa's Workshop, a special place just for children where they can purchase inexpensive holiday gifts for those they love. Santa's Workshop will be stocked with great gifts for Mom, Dad and more! Each child and adult must register. Fees: $12R/$14NR Adult; $16R/$18NR Child.
