    Enjoy a weekend of fine art, craft and design at the 22nd Annual Art in Wilder Park. Over 125 artists will gather at Wilder Park on Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. for this free event, which will also feature food, music and children’s activities. Browse a wide array of art including jewelry, glass, ceramics, painting, photography and sculpture.

    Stop in at historical Wilder Mansion for pastries and box lunches from Brewpoint Coffee and live music from musician, Scottie Long.

    Join in the fun for the 22nd Annual Museum Day in Elmhurst, a special event commemorating the important cultural value of museums to communities. Jump on board the Explore Elmhurst trolley to visit all three Elmhurst museums for free admission, family-friendly activities, exhibit tours, refreshments, and more. Practice being a pedestrian on the sidewalks, use road safety while you ride your tricycle on the streets, and learn about railroad safety near the fully operational crossing gate. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times when visiting Safety Town.

    All ages are welcome. Youngsters ages 4-7 with tricycles and helmets can ride through Safety Town.

    We’re opening Smalley Pool just for you and your tot! Here is your little one’s chance to splash around without the bigger kids.   • Eldridge Adventure Day

    Choose your own adventure in Eldridge Park on Eldridge Adventure Day, Sunday, June 10 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Elmhurst Park District welcomes everyone to a day of outdoor fun and nature discovery! Come face-to-face with exotic animals, explore the park on a bug hunt or cast a line during the fishing derby. The fun will also include carnival games, face painting and food trucks!     Grab a picnic blanket and join us at Wilder Park for a showing of the animated movie 'Sing'. Come early for family fun and food trucks at 7:30 p.m. Movies begin at dusk, approximately 8:30 p.m.

    Movies in the Park is a partnership between Elmhurst Park District and Elmhurst Public Library. Sponsored by Edward-Elmhurst Health, The Schiller Team and Suburban Bank & Trust.

  • Glow Golf

    June 15, 2018 - 9:00pm to 10:30pm

    Experience mini-golf in a whole new light at Glow Golf, taking place at The Hub at Berens Park. Play a round of golf with glow-in-the-dark balls and glow sticks. Fee is $6 Elmhurst residents/$7 non-residents. Call (630) 782-4955 for more information.

    Calling all sixth, seventh and eighth graders! Join us at East End Pool to swim and listen to music provided by a DJ. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase. Register before 6 p.m. the night of the event to receive the Early Registration Fee. Participants who register at the event must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Ages 11-14. Fee is $7 Early Registration; $10 at the door. Registration opens Saturday, May 5 for residents, visit our registration page to register.

    Families come and join the Elmhurst Park District Pool Staff at East End Pool as we celebrate Christmas in July! There will be a variety of reindeer games, a Christmas Trivia contest, and even a visit from Santa. A DJ will be there to set the mood with Christmas music. Regular daily admission rates apply.

    August 09, 2018 - 5:00pm

    All dancers interested in auditioning for the 2018-2019 season are invited to audition at their age level on Thursday, August 9 or Saturday, August 11. During auditions, dancers will perform specific skills as well as dance combinations, which will give our choreographers a sense of each dancer's ability. Once auditions are complete, you will be notified of a placement, whether it is with the Impact Dance Company or another suitable class for your dancer. Although there is no charge to audition, registration is required.

    Wagner Community Center, the Administrative Office and The Abbey are closed today and will reopen tomorrow. Courts Plus will be open from 7 a.m.-1 p.m.

    Today is the last day of the 2018 pool season at East End Pool, which will be open from Noon-6 p.m.

    The Spray Ground at The Hub will be open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

  • Polar Express

    All aboard! Don't miss the holiday magic as we journey to the North Pole (Elburn) on the Metra train. We will enjoy cookies and refreshments while a storyteller reads The Polar Express. Santa will join us on the train to visit with your family. Meet on the south side of the tracks. Children under one year old are welcome to attend, but must sit on adult's lap. Approximately two-hours round trip. Two train times available, 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Please note: car seats and strollers are not allowed.
