The Elmhurst Park District recognizes that certain activities or programs can best be implemented through the development or existence of special interest organizations. An Affiliate Group is a not-for-profit organization that supplements Elmhurst Park District services, meets the District’s mission, and serves the Elmhurst community, but is independent from the District’s operations.
The mission of the Elmhurst Park District is to enrich lives while having fun!
Provides young athletes with disabilities in and around Elmhurst access to team sport activities to learn new skills, encourage teamwork and realize that team sports can be fun, yet competitive.
Crestview Garden Club
A non-profit, non-sectarian family club devoted to the interest of horticulture.
Elmhurst Bicycle Club
Offering numerous rides and social activities while providing advocacy for bicyclists.
Elmhurst Children's Theatre
Elmhurst Children's Theatre, a nonprofit community theatre, provides children in grades 2 - 8 who live in or go to school in Elmhurst with opportunities to learn about theatre and perform. The Elmhurst community enjoys watching the ECT cast in their fall/winter and spring mainstage productions and the ECT annual summer show. ECT also runs a sketch comedy troupe and offers classes.
Elmhurst Garden Club
Contributing time and funds to encourage the advancement of horticulture and provide an outlet of expression for its members.
Elmhurst Running Club
Offering year-round runs and training as well as numerous social events.
