Where on the Prairie Path will the heated restroom be located?
At its January 26, 2026 Board Meeting, the Park Board approved placement of the new heated restroom building along the Prairie Path near the gazebo at Spring Road.
Will the year-round restrooms be open 24 hours a day?
No. Year-round restrooms will be opened daily and locked each night, they will not be open 24 hours a day. Currently from April-October, the Park District opens public restrooms daily in the morning and they get cleaned and locked at night.
What is the construction timeline for the restrooms?

- 2026 - Prairie Path and Crestview Park
