The Elmhurst Garden Club presented a check to the Park Board at its February 12, 2014 meeting. The Garden Club is generously donating $3,000 to the Park District, of which $1,000 will go to the Rec Assistance Fund, which helps financially disadvantaged Elmhurst families participate in recreation programs. The remaining $2,000 will be used to help fund the brand new Wilder Park Conservatory & Greenhouse.
