A new Elmhurst Park District collaboration with the Ray Graham Association (RGA) is making progress over at the Elmhurst Community Learning Center, (420 W. Madison Street).

With demand for programming remaining high, the Park District and the RGA entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in July 2024. The agreement allows the Park District to use the Elmhurst Community Learning Center in exchange for contributing funding to refurbish the building’s gymnasium.

Construction work is already underway at the gymnasium, with new paint and LED lighting upgrades being completed. Other tasks will include the refurbishment of the gymnasium’s floor. Work at the facility is expected to wrap-up by late Fall 2024 and Park District staff look forward to expanding programming to the space soon.
