Elmhurst Park District’s Impact Dance Company attended the IRCA (Illinois Recreational Cheerleading Association) Cheer and Dance State Championship December 6-8 at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates.
Impact Senior, Teen, Junior and Mini Dance Companies won 1st place and brought home State Champion trophies. Impact Mini Poms and Petite Dance Company took 3rd place in their divisions.
Kathlyn Blouch, Elmhurst Park District Dance Education Coordinator, said, “We are all so proud of the dancers and their accomplishments at State.”
Cultural Arts Program Supervisor, Susan Smentek, said, “Thank you, parents, family and friends, for your support of the Impact Dance Company program at Elmhurst Park District.”
