Wagner Community Center (WCC) Project
- Lime stabilization was implemented on the site to mitigate saturated soil conditions allowing the project to continue moving forward and remain on schedule.
- Sixth bid package was opened on May 21 including Wood Flooring, Interior and Exterior Painting, Site Concrete, Landscaping and Irrigation, Asphalt and Paving, Fencing and Gates, Site Furnishings/Flagpole, and Playground Equipment.
- A Request for Qualifications was issued on May 22 for Building Enclosure Commissioning services.
- Contracts for the purchase and installation of indoor artificial turf and building commissioning were approved by Board on May 26.
- Pouring of concrete foundations for precast wall panels underway.
Berens Park Artificial Turf Field Conversion
- Contract for the purchase and installation of artificial turf approved by Board on May 26.
Wilder Park Bandshell and Restroom Building
- Board approved pergola design for Wilder Park South Master Plan and viewed updated bandshell renderings and site plans on May 11.
- Preliminary Planned Unit Development (PUD) process continued including:
- Approximately 16 individuals attended a required public meeting at the Wilder Mansion on May 21.
- Wilder Park Bandshell project was presented to the City's Development, Planning, and Zoning Committee on May 26.
Restroom Buildings
- Crestview Park
- A Conditional Use application was submitted to the City of Elmhurst.
- Board approved the adjusted layout of Crestview Park Master Plan Phase 1 park amenities on May 11.
