Financials
- Bond closing took place on February 18 when $89,950,000 was wired to the District's new investment account with PFM
Wagner Community Center (WCC) Project
- WCC Design Development Task Force:
- met with representatives of the City to further discuss permitting and zoning requirements for each of the referendum projects, including Wagner Community Center
- met twice to review floor plans, sites plans, and building images
- Construction Management Firm Selection Process:
- eleven construction management qualification proposals submitted by the February 7 deadline
- submittals reviewed and evaluated by staff and Dewberry
- three firms interviewed by staff and Dewberry
- WCC Relocation Task Force:
- finalized existing spaces that are available within the District
- determined what other spaces (non-District) are needed to house programs/services
- began making inquiries into potential lease options for commercial space to accommodate the District’s gymnastics and dance programs
Community Engagement & Communications
- Reviewed current and potential strategies for external customers and internal staff
- Drafted timeline for community engagement for referendum projects
Crestview Park Master Plan
- Site inventory and analysis completed by V3
- Baseline and existing inventory plan completed
- Master Plan Public Open House scheduled for March 20, 2025
