The Elmhurst Park District is aware of the “teen takeover” trend that has impacted public spaces and facilities in surrounding communities. The safety and well-being of our patrons, staff, and visitors remain our highest priority.
Disruptive group behavior, intimidation, vandalism, harassment, or any activity that compromises the safety of patrons or staff will not be tolerated. We value our strong partnership with the Elmhurst Police Department and will not hesitate to involve law enforcement should disruptive behavior occur.
We appreciate the many teens and families who use our parks and facilities respectfully. By working together, we can continue providing safe, welcoming spaces that support our mission of enriching lives while having fun!
