The Wilder Mansion Grand Opening Gala proved a complete success from start to finish. Guests were dazzled by the glowing mansion, decorated to the hilt. Though the weather was chilly, guests still went on carriage rides and enjoyed the view of the Mansion. One Gala-goer commented, “In my wildest dreams, I never imagined the Mansion looking this good.” The entertainment was unparalleled, the food spectacular, and in short, the Gala was everything a Gala should be -- and more, because of the strong affection the community showed for the building.
