Junior Tennis
Youth Tennis Pathway
At Courts Plus we understand the excitement around athletes progressing to the next class. However, please know that there is no rush or pressure to advance to the next level or ball type. While class names may reference a specific ball, we often incorporate a variety of balls during training to support skill and overall development.
All ages develop through the various stages of learning by following our Youth Tennis Pathway. Download the Youth Tennis Pathway Chart >>
The Pathway begins with Foundation Classes, which utilize appropriate equipment while allowing players to learn basic tactics and fundamentals skills.
From there, children move on to the Development Classes and progress at their own pace, with the goal of moving into Advanced Classes, which are invitation only classes for those who meet the necessary competencies.
Summer Camps are also offered for those looking to learn basic skills or brush up on their game.
Travel Junior Team
Build your game and enjoy the support of your teammates while competing against other clubs. Junior players gain valuable experience from competing and watching matches. Competitive games and learning offical match play are also a key part of this invitation-only program. Players are invited to participate in this weekly program with pro's recommendation.
Courts Plus also sponsors USTA Junior Team Tennis leagues. These leagues bring junior tennis players ages 6-18 together for a competitive, level-based league that promotes fun and exercise.
Private Lessons
Available for junior players, private lessons allow players to have the opportunity to arrange both private and semi-private group lessons. Call (630) 993-8192 for more information.
