The Berens Park tennis courts bounced back into action this month and we’re celebrating with a ribbon cutting! Join Elmhurst Park District on Friday, September 18 at 6pm to commemorate the redevelopment of the courts.

Register for this year’s The Conservation Foundation and Endeavor Health 2026 Take a Hike! Challenge! For eight weeks, from September 1 to October 27, rediscover the healthy benefits of being active and spending time outdoors.

Get into the Halloween spirit by decorating your home and sharing a photo with us and the community! From cute to creepy - your display could be named Elmhurst's favorite!

Step into a story and explore the great outdoors. As part of the Take a Hike Challenge, families will stroll along the trail while enjoying the story Wind Watchers by Micha Archer displayed throughout the park.

Along the way, complete a fun nature themed scavenger hunt and finish your adventures with a hands-on wind chime craft inspired by the book. It's the perfect opportunity to get outside, enjoy nature and create lasting memories together. Free event.

Explore the gymnastics center this fall! Staff will be on hand to ensure safety and proper usage of the facility and equipment.
