East End Pool Lifeguards demonstrate skills with 5-Star Audit performance

The Elmhurst Park District’s lifeguard team received top marks during their first unannounced visit of the year from StarGuard Elite, the Park District’s partner in lifeguard training and aquatic risk prevention. Last month, lifeguards at East End Pool earned a coveted five-star rating on their audit, the highest score possible.

Courts Plus celebrates solar milestone with “Solarbration” event

Courts Plus has officially gone solar! On July 9, the Elmhurst Park District and Courts Plus celebrated this exciting milestone with a special “Solarbration” themed Party in the Park. Community members enjoyed games and music before gathering for the ceremonial flipping of a light switch—symbolizing the start of solar energy at the Park District’s fitness facility.
