The 2015 East End Playground Project construction is set to begin on Monday, August 17. New playground equipment and site furnishings, a soft safety surface, fencing and an ADA accessible concrete walk will be installed. The park will also receive tree plantings and landscape restoration.
The plan calls for two play areas, one for younger children (2-5 year olds) and one for older children (6-12 year olds) and there will be several pieces constructed in both play areas, including swings and a climber.
