Eldridge Park Restroom Building ribbon cutting

  • Eldridge Park Restroom Building ribbon cutting take place April 11 at 10am

Join Elmhurst Park District in Eldridge Park on Saturday, April 11 at 10 am for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of the Park District’s first referendum project to break ground – a permanent heated restroom building at Eldridge Park.

The new restroom is situated near the playground along Spring Road. The location provides easy access to many of Eldridge’s most used amenities, including walking paths, soccer fields, tennis/roller hockey courts and the east playground.

Permanent heated restrooms in the parks are a top priority, based on results from a Park District Community Needs Assessment survey. This new building will help meet that need – providing all park users a safe, clean restroom year-round.

The Park District partnered with Dewberry Architects, V3 Engineering and RAF Electrical Services on the Eldridge restroom project.

Two more referendum-approved restrooms are anticipated to open this year. One will be along the Illinois Prairie Path near the gazebo at Spring Road while the other will be constructed in Crestview Park.
