The Wilder Park Conservatory and Greenhouse Restoration Project continues; the frames for the foundations have been removed and construction crews have begun to backfill the spaces surrounding the foundations. In the coming week the foundation that connects the Greenhouse to the Conservatory will be framed and poured. Meanwhile behind the scenes, preparations are underway for the trades to begin work in the old Greenhouse storage and office space, this includes new and updated HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Fun Fact: Approximately 100 cubic yards of cement (12 fully loaded cement trucks) were used in the construction of the foundations for the Greenhouse and Propagating House.
