Pool Rentals

Host your private special event at everyone’s favorite spot! The Elmhurst Park District’s two outdoor pools, East End and Smalley, are available after hours for private rentals to meet all your party needs. 

• Exclusive use of the facility including spacious eating areas, lawns, and water features including slides and diving boards (Does not include Tot Pool at East End.).
• Pool Management and Lifeguard staff on duty.
• On-site concessions will not be available during this time. We strongly encourage all parties to place an order with Bacci’s Pizza.
• Alcohol and glass bottles of any kind are not allowed.
• Renter shall minimally provide one adult supervisor for every eight children ages six and older (1:8 ratio) and one adult supervisor for every five children under the age of six (1:5 ratio). This adult must be at least 16 years of age, in a swimsuit, in the water. Each adult supervisor will be identified as a Child Watcher. 
   

Availability and Fees

Private Pool Rental fees are for the two hour timeslot. Rentals must be booked at least 14 days in advance. 

Group Rates

Planning a group or camp outing? Groups of 20 or more will receive a discounted daily admission rate at the pool. Groups and camps can download the Pool Group Outing Application to request approval.

Additional Guidelines

• All swimmers must be at least 48 inches tall to ride the water slide at Norman P. Smalley Pool and/or the drop slide at East End Pool.
• Pool Renters and guests can start arriving at 15 minutes prior to the rental start time and will be permitted to gather in the concessions area until the start of the rental. 
• Additional amusement at your rental (i.e. Face Painter, magician, balloon artist, performer, etc.) must first be requested and received permission in writing from the Elmhurst Park District, Program Supervisor, Nick Thomas.
• Bounce houses (moon jumps), DJs, Dunk Tanks, and tents larger than 10x10 are not permitted.
• Food trucks are not permitted.

Cancellations & Refunds

• If bad weather causes the pool to be closed on the day of your scheduled rental, you can reschedule your party and the fees will be transferred to your new party date. If your party is unable to be rescheduled a full refund will be issued.
• If inclement weather occurs during your rental:  If half of your rental has occurred, you will not receive a refund or have the opportunity to reschedule. If less than half of your rental has occurred, you will be refunded or your rental will be rescheduled.
• Any other cancellations must be made 10 days in advance in order to receive a full refund. The damage deposit will be forfeited should the renter cancel less than 10 days in advance.
