East End Backstop and Fencing Replacements (2025)

Since the backstops and wing fences at East End Park ballfields #1-3 have reached the end of their useful life, staff propose replacing them, which will decrease maintenance costs and improve playing conditions and field aesthetics for patrons. The current backstops and fencing are at least twenty-years old and were repaired multiple times. The current bowing of the fabric and general condition justify replacement. Staff propose funding this project with General Fund reserves.
