Conrad Fischer Park Project
Community comes out to celebrate redeveloped Conrad Fischer Park
The community enjoyed a beautiful evening at Conrad Fischer Park, as they celebrated the ribbon cutting and reopening of the newly redeveloped playground with the Park Board. Board President Vince Spaeth noted the terrific turnout at the ribbon cutting and thanked residents for the tremendous amount of input on the new park renovations.
The playground will surely become a favorite neighborhood spot. It features new equipment geared to the 2-5 age group, additional seating and a new unitary surfacing.
Redeveloped sports courts at Conrad Fischer Park now open
The redevelopment of the sports courts at Conrad Fischer park is completed! Last resurfaced in 2005, the courts were also repainted and restriped to provide several sport opportunities. Park goers now have three options for fun: tennis, basketball and futsal!
After gathering community input, staff determined that converting the two existing tennis courts and one roller hockey court to one tennis court, one futsal court and two half basketball courts would provide more recreational opportunities for the neighborhood.
