Visitors to Wagner Community Center this past Thursday were able to satisfy a sweet tooth and help a good cause. Girl Scout Troop #50302 sold baked goods in the lobby with proceeds going to the Playground for Everyone at Butterfield Park, a universally accessible playground being built by the Elmhurst Park District in fall 2016. The troop is working toward their bronze service award and want to help the community build a park where everyone can play together. The troop raised $415 which will go toward the playground’s construction.
