Join Elmhurst Park District as we kick off the holiday season in Wilder Park! We'll count down to the lighting of the community trees that surround the park and enjoy holiday festivities. Free to attend.

Location: Wilder Park, 175 S Prospect Avenue
Parking: Wilder Park's south parking lot and the Alexander Lot at Elmhurst University will be open for parking.

Community Trees
The 60 community trees surrounding Wilder Park are sold out for 2024.
Our People's Choice Award returns this year - photos of each decorated tree will be posted to Facebook prior to the Tree Lighting event. The tree with the most likes will receive a complimentary tree for 2025!
Elmhurst Parks Foundation Raffle
The Elmhurst Parks Foundation is excited to announce a fun partnership with the Elmhurst Park District for this year's Tree Lighting. They are raffling off a “VIP Tree Lighting Experience” that includes reserved event parking in the Wilder Park south lot and the first spot in line to meet Santa at the Tree Lighting. Tickets are only $5 each, and all proceeds benefit the Elmhurst Parks Foundation, a 501 c3 that supports our parks.

This event is outdoors and held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, please check the Rainout Line. Updates will also be posted on the website and the Elmhurst Park District Facebook page.
