The Depot hosts some early childhood programs.
It was acquired from the Chicago and Northwester Railroad in 1971 and renovated as a bicentennial project in 1975. The construction of the Bicentennial Fountain on the same site as Wild Meadows Trace was the community’s bicentennial project. The Depot and fountain were dedicated on July 4, 1976.
