Plus - bring the kids and enjoy a mini Party in the Park, with classic backyard games like hula hoops, chalk and coloring. Light refreshments will be provided.
Eldridge Park's east playground is scheduled for redevelopment in 2020. The District plans to replace the playground and implement other general park improvements.
Anyone who has an interest in the planned improvements is invited to the park to give us ideas and enjoy the party!
The playground replacement is part of the District’s capital planning efforts, where nearly every year one of the District’s 18 playgrounds is budgeted to be renovated, providing an 18-20 year lifecycle for each playground.
The Park District will use the comments from the event to prepare a preliminary master plan for the park and playground.
