Pool Punch Cards Now Available for Summer 2018!

Put your summer plans on track with an Elmhurst Park District pool punch card, now available to purchase at Wagner Community Center. They are good for 20 swims and gain you access to all three of our aquatic facilities, East End Pool, Norman P. Smalley Pool and the Spray Ground at The Hub.

Punch cards are great for out of town guests or even for the babysitter to use for visits to the pools. Rates are $99 residents/$160 non-residents and $80 resident seniors age 65 and older. 

Successful boys gymnastics season leads to record number of regional qualifiers

The Elmhurst Gymnastics Center’s Boys USAG team competed at the State Championship in Chicago the weekend of March 23-25, 2018. Eight athletes qualified for the Regional Championship that will take place in Chicago from Friday, April 13 – Sunday, April 15. The level 5 boys team placed 5th.

Park District offers fun, memorable experiences for summer employment

Many adults look back on their first job with fondness. It was a time to gain some independence, make new friends, and maybe earn a little spending money. Maybe it was flipping burgers at the local fast food joint, watching the neighborhood kids, or bagging groceries. But many teens choose to work for their local park district.

Park District continues to address registration software issues

At the March 12, 2018 Park Board meeting, Park District staff and the Board’s ad hoc IT committee provided updates regarding the District’s registration software, RecTrac from Vermont Systems, Inc. (VSI). The software ran at an unacceptably slow rate of speed during registration on February 24, 2018, causing concern amongst residents trying to sign up for programs.
